REPUTATION PROTECTIONAdam has considerable experience of obtaining interim orders and final orders to protect individuals reputations, as well as responding to applications made by Claimant's.
Examples of recent work have included representing individuals who were responding to an interim order, known as a gagging order.

Military casesAdam has assisted in numerous cases involving the British military ranging from, issues relating to alleged war crimes, through to immigration for former serving members and their family. Adam has also represented a number of former interpreters denied protection in the UK. Adam is committed to the principles of the Armed forces covenant, and continues to assist those members and former members of Her Majesties armed forces. Where legal aid is available, Adam can assist with obtaining this to assist with the cost of legal advice.
LEGAL AID AND EXCEPTIONAL FUNDINGAdam specialises in obtaining legal aid when others are unable to do so. Legal aid is provided within Schedule 1 of LASPO 2012 if it does not appear in this schedule, then an application will need to be made for exceptional funding. Adam has previously obtained funding when other firms have been unable to in the following examples within LASPO 12:
Personal injury for historic victim of childhood sexual abuse. This was provided under Schedule 1, paragraph 3, but could be provided in respect to any aspect such as in respect to obtaining a freezing order, or other interim order related to the sexual abuse. Equally a victim of sexual violence that was an offence may also seek funding under Schedule 1 Paragraph 39.

A person seeking to review either the inclusion or the removal from the barred list, disqualification from working with children or teachers. Notably for victims of sexual violence the removal of an individual from the barred list, can be challenged under Schedule 1 Paragraph 4.
Judicial Review of a decision of a public authority. Any decision of a public authority which cannot be appealed, can normally be judicially reviewed. Adam has previously judicially reviewed the Legal Aid Agency for failing to provide legal aid in a matter under Schedule 1 Paragraph 19.
Where a person is unlawfully detained, they may seek an application for Habeus Corpus for them to be produced before the Court to resolve the lawfulness of the detention under Schedule 1 Paragraph 20.
Abuse of position of power includes action against public authorities when they act outside of their lawful powers. Schedule 1 Paragraph 21. If this included a breach of Human rights then a claim against the public authority could be made under Schedule 1 Paragraph 22.
Victims of trafficking are entitled to legal aid, in respect to services relating to the employment tribunal, or in respect to the recover of damages related to trafficking. Schedule 1 Paragraph 32.
Individuals who are seeking or responding to applications under protection from harassment Act proceedings are entitled to legal aid under Schedule 1 Paragraph 37.
Civil legal services may be provided to those who are subject to a civil restraint order preventing the handling of property under various sections of the Proceeds of Crime Act under Schedule 1, paragraph 40.
Civil legal services provided in relation to injunctions in respect of nuisance arising from prescribed types of pollution of the environment, Schedule 1, paragraph 42
Cross Boarder disputes within the EU maybe funded under legal aid, this could include an claim against AirBnB or an airline in respect to delay, under Schedule 1, paragraph 44
